    Joffrey Feriel is an expert in hematology and coagulation. Trained as a clinical pathologist, he has a unique experience gained working for academic hospitals and a global leader in the in vitro diagnostics industry – Stago. This diverse exposure gave him a clear understanding of the different aspects of medical laboratory practice in this field. He regularly collaborates with international institutions, including the blood cell counting and typing team of the JCTLM (Joint Committee for Traceability in Laboratory Medicine) and several document development committees of the CLSI (Clinical laboratory and Standards Institute). Finally, he is the author of two books ; the latest one is a practical book on the interpretation of the complete blood count that offers a concise description of the different stages of hematological diagnosis, from finding a CBC abnormality to reaching a final diagnosis.
