I am Jérôme Rollin (PhD), researcher in the haematology-haemostasis department of the University Hospital of Tours.
I obtained my PhD at the University of Tours in 2006 under the supervision of my mentor, Pr Yves Gruel. After a post-doc on transcriptomics at the Genopôle in Paris, I returned to Tours in 2009 as a permanent researcher in the team of Prof. Yves Gruel. Since, I have been focusing my research on IgG-induced platelet and cell activation, particularly in heparin-induced thrombocytopenia (HIT) and more recently in vaccine-induced thrombocytopenia (VIT). I am co-author of about 50 indexed publications.
I have been a member of the board of directors of the Groupe Français d'Etude de l'Hémostase et de la Thrombose (GFHT) since 2020 and a member of the International Society of Haemostasis and Thrombosis (ISTH) for more than 10 years.
