Michelle Bech MN ACNP (A) Providence Health Care. Michelle obtained her Masters of Nursing: Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) in 2005 from the University of Toronto. She has worked at St Paul’s Hospital since graduating, initially with the orthopedic service and in 2018 moved to the provincial Adult Bleeding Disorders Program of BC/Yukon. The program provides specialist interdisciplinary care to people with inherited bleeding disorders. Michelle has received the Canadian Physiotherapy Association Silver Quill Award which recognizes outstanding original articles related to the field of rehabilitation in the qualitative or quantitative research category. In 2017, she was awarded the Teena Werry Award which recognizes NP excellence in clinical nursing practice. Michelle is an outdoor enthusiast and in her spare time she volunteers with her local Search and Rescue group.
