Hospital Practioner in Internal Medicine
Internal medicine and Pneumology Department, Brest University Hospital, UMR 1304, GETBO
BREST, Bretagne, France
My name is Claire de Moreuil. I am a French medical doctor specialized in internal medicine.
Since 2012, I have been working at Brest University hospital, in the department of internal medicine, pneumology and vascular medicine.
I am a member of the research team UMR1304, also called GETBO (Groupe d'Etude de la Thrombose de Bretagne Occidentale), led by Pr Francis Couturaud.
My research, which is mainly clinical and translational, is focused on pregnancy complications, especially vasculo-placental disorders (for example pre-eclampsia), venous thrombo-embolism and postpartum hemorrhage (PPH).
I am currently in a post-doc position in the Division of Haematology and Haemostaseology, Department of Medicine I, Medical University of Vienna, Austria, lead by Pr Ingrid Pabinger and Pr Cihan Ay. I am exploring hemostatic properties of predelivery plasmas from pregnant women enrolled in HPP-IPF cohort study in order to understand better pathophysiological mechanisms resulting in PPH, and in order to find predictive biomarkers for PPH.
