Gerard Short MRCP FFPM is the Chief Medical Officer of VarmX BV. He trained in medicine at St Mary's Hospital Medical School and prior to joining the pharmaceutical industry worked in the UK NHS. He has worked in pharma and biotech for 25 years across all stages of medicines development across a broad range of therapy areas. He has extensive experience of rare and haematological diseases and gene therapy clinical development.
