    Dr. Mutlu Kartal-Kaess, MD, is a pediatric hematologist and oncologist working as consultant at the University Hospital Bern (Inselspital) in Switzerland.
    She trained clinically in Freiburg (Brsg) and Heidelberg in Germany, before she was appointed consultant and continued her work in Bern. She did her research training at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute (WEHI) in Melbourne, Australia, and the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) in Heidelberg. Her research interest is in translational and clinical coagulation research within the Swiss Hemophilia Network and the PedNet Haemophilia Registry.
