    PD Mirjam Bachler, PhD: currently working as Senior PostDoc at the Private University in Hall Tyrol (UMIT Tyrol) and at the Research Laboratory of the Traumatological Intensive Care Unit (TICU) at the University Hospital Innsbruck with expertise in acquired coagulopathies in sepsis, COVID-19, trauma, critical care, and emergency medicine. Completion of the PhD in Medical Science in 2008 and Habilitation (PD) in 2021 both at the Medical University of Innsbruck with focus on the interplay between inflammation and coagulation in critically ill patients. Since 2018 member of the working group for perioperative coagulation of the Austrian Society for Anesthesiology, Resuscitation and Intensive Care Medicine.
