Mads Dam Lyhne, MD, PhD is resident doctor in anesthesiology and intensive care medicine at Aarhus University Hospital, Denmark. Since medical school he has worked with invasive hemodynamics with a special focus on right ventricular function in conditions of acute and chronic pulmonary hypertension. His PhD focused on right ventricular afterload reduction in acute pulmonary embolism using a porcine model, and since then he has expanded his research focus to clinical investigations.
