    Natascha Marquardt is a specialist in transfusion medicine and haemostaseology. She works at the University of Bonn Institute of Experimental Haematology and Transfusion Medicine in Bonn, Germany, which treats about 20% of all patients with severe bleedings disorders in Germany. As a senior physician she is responsible for the treatment of adult patients and children with haemophilia and other rare bleeding disorders. Dr Marquardt is active in clinical research in both congenital and acquired bleeding disorders. She has co-authored peer-reviewed articles on von Willebrand factor deficiency and pathomolecular mechanisms of von Willebrand factor deletion, as well as studies on patients with haemophilia. Furthermore, she has a special interest in comorbidities in elderly haemophilia patients and in ultrasonography of haemophilic joints.
