Dr. Sarah Sewaralthahab is a US board-certified hematologist and medical oncologist with a Masters in Public Health. She obtained her MBBS from King Saud University, her MPH from University of Miami and her Internal Medicine training at the University of Maryland in Baltimore. MedStar Georgetown Washington Hospital Center in Washington DC was where she gained her hematology/oncology training afterwards. Dr. Sarah currently practices at KSUMC and serves as the adult hematology program director.
Dr. Sewaralthahab's main areas of interests clinically are in thrombosis and bleeding disorders generally and obstetric hematology specifically. Academically and administratively, she enjoys teaching and quality improvement through process improvement, respectively. She carries research publication in all these area.
