I completed my studies in Medical Technology, specializing in Clinical Bioanalysis, Hematology, and Blood Bank, at the University of Chile in Santiago, Chile. Eager to further enhance my knowledge and research skills, I was fortunate to be awarded two scholarships that enabled me to undertake a training and research internship at the University of Granada in Spain and the University Medical Center of Groningen in the Netherlands. During this enriching experience, I was involved in a project focused on optimizing Neonatal screening for inborn errors of metabolism using Next Generation Sequencing.
Currently, I am a PhD student working in the trinational (France-Germany-The Netherlands) consortium TICARDIO, as part of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Innovative Training Networks within Horizon 2020, under the project “Epidemiolomics of thrombin generation in thrombo-inflammation”, where I am focusing in identifying new biological determinants of thrombin generation potential using multi-omics approaches.
