Siyuan Li is a PhD student in the School of Biomedical Engineering at McMaster University. He holds a bachelor's degree in polymer materials and engineering from the Jilin University and an MSc from Soochow University. During his master's program, his research focus was on the surface modification of microfluidics for multifunctional detection. His doctoral research project involves the modification of polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) microfluidic blood oxygenators with an antithrombin-heparin (ATH) covalent complex and tissue plasminogen activator (t-PA) for long-term anticoagulation.
