I am Jeremy Rupon, MD,PhD, Clinical Program Lead for Hematology at Pfizer. I received my undergraduate education at Wake Forest University where I majored in Chemsitry. I received my MD and PhD at the Medical College of Virginia earning my PhD in the laboratory of Dr. Gordon Ginder where we investigated epigentic regulation of silenced globin genes. My internship and residency were completed at the Massachusetts General Hospital for Children. I then completely a fellowship in pediatric hematology and oncology at the Children's Hospital of Philaldephia. I joined Pfizer a few years post-fellowship and have been working on the development of gene therapy for the treatment of hemophilia A and B.
