    Dr. Chiara Simion, MD, is currently attending the third year of Geriatrics Residency of the Department of Medicine-DIMED and is working at Thrombotic and Hemorragic Unit and Hemophilia Centre of University-Hospital of Padua Medical School. The main focus of her research activities includes venous thromboembolism, hereditary thrombophilia, COVID-19 coagulopathy, anticoagulation, hemophilia and others congenital bleeding disorders. She has authored and co-authored several abstracts and articles in the fields of coagulation disorders. She is a member of the Italian Society of Hemostasis and Thrombosis and of the Italian Society of Angiology and Vascular Pathology.
