Anh Ngo, Ph.D. is a postdoctoral fellow at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, in the Division of Hematology. Anh Ngo earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Science with a minor in Chemistry from Warner Pacific University (Portland, OR, USA) in 2015. She went on to receive her Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Oregon Health & Science University (Portland, OR, USA) in 2020 under the mentorship of Dr. Owen McCarty. Anh’s research has centered on understanding platelet signaling mechanisms and the interplay between platelets, coagulation and the endothelium in regulating hemostasis, thrombosis and cardiovascular diseases. She then went to The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (Philadelphia, PA, USA) to pursue postdoctoral research in the laboratory of Drs. Kandace Gollomp and Mortimer Poncz. Her study focuses on the pro-thrombotic role of neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs) and utility of NET-modifying approaches as novel therapeutics for the treatment of sepsis.
