    I am a geriatrician and a PhD candidate in Translational Medicine at University “G d’Annunzio” in Chieti, Italy. I have just completed a one-year research fellowship at McMaster University in Hamilton, working at the Thrombosis Service. During the last years I improved my knowledge about research methodology and biostatistics applied to clinical and translational research. The fields of interest of my PhD concern cancer associated thrombosis, the management and drug-drug interactions of direct oral anticoagulants and the impact of frailty in patients on anticoagulant treatment.
