    Learning Objectives:

    • Upon completion, participants will be able to understand the variability in platelet function within the human population, and the impact that this may have on appropriate use of anti-platelet agents.
    • Upon completion, particpants will have learnt about platelet function testing, its current limitations, and emerging techniques that enable detailed analysis, allowing complex phenotyping.
    • Upon completion, participants will appreciate the potential for platelet function to form the basis of patient stratification, allowing targeted drug development, testing and personalised clinical use.
