    My name is Dr Bulent Kantarcioglu, MD. from Loyola University Chicago, Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. I am an experienced Internal Medicine and Hematology Specialist from Istanbul, Turkey. After I finished my medical school training at Istanbul University, Cerrahpasa Medical Faculty, I did my residency training in the same faculty in Department of Internal Medicine. I did my hematology fellowship in Marmara University, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Hematology. After I finished my medical training I worked as an hematology specialist with academic position in several hospitals in Istanbul, Turkey. I started to work as a research fellow at the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine in Loyola University Chicago under supervision of Professor Jawed Fareed in July 2021. Here my research focuses on vascular pathology, specifically in the combined areas of the mechanisms of thrombosis, anticoagulation treatment (development and clinical management), and clinical laboratory medicine.
