    Daniel Steiner is a PhD student in the Thrombosis and Haemostasis Research Group of Prof. Cihan Ay at the Medical University of Vienna (Department of Medicine I, Clinical Division of Haematology and Haemostaseology). He graduated his medical studies in July 2021 and joined the group in October 2021. Daniel's reasearch revolves around venous thromboembolism, including short- and long-term complications and particularly focusing on patient-centered outcomes such as functional limitations, quality of life, and mental health.
