Dr. Patriquin, MD, Msc, FRCPC is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Clinician Investigator at the University of Toronto. He attended McMaster University for hematology and subsequent clinical scholarship in complement-mediated diseases. His primary interests include complement-mediated diseases, TTP, and other thrombotic microangiopathies. His Masters in health research methodology focused on effective trial and observational methods in rare diseases. In 2015, Dr. Patriquin completed an honorary clinical research fellowships with the NHS National PNH Service under Dr. Anita Hill, and at University College London Hospital under Dr. Marie Scully. He is an active memer of the Canadian Apheresis Group's TMA Working Group, served on the writing committe of the ASFA 9th Special Issue Apheresis Guidelines document, is Chair of the Canadian PNH Network, and is an investigator for a number of therapeutic trials in complement-mediate diseases and international registries. In 2016, he joined the University Health Network where he is a consultant in Hematology and Apheresis Medicine.
