Dr. Sarina Levy-Mendelovich is a Pediatric hemato-oncologist, specialist in thrombosis and hemostasis. She workes as a senior physician in the National hemophilia and thrombosis center, Israel and is a Senior Lecturer in Tel aviv University, faculty of medicine.
Dr. Levy-Mendelovich completed her pediatric residency and fellowship in pediatric hemato-oncology in sheba medical center followed by a fellowship in thrombosis and hemostasis.
Dr. Levy Mendelovich's research focuses on rare bleeding disorders, trying to find biomarkers for inhibitor formation in hemophilia as well as exmining the use of global assays in rare bleeding disorders. She completed a research post in Walsh's Lab in Mount sinai where she specialised in viral vectors for gene therapy. Sincer her return in 2020 her lab is investigatiing the use of AAV in multiple murine models.
Dr. Levy- Mendelovich has won a BSF grant together with Arruda's lab as well as multiple other competitive grants . She is PI of multiple clinical as well as basic research studies.
